Back then, I write everything during my academic journey in my blog. I picked this journey to be shared with you in this book because it has been a life-changing experience for me.
This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be selected as a participant in a summer school program at the top university in the world, was a chance not to be missed. This event took place many years ago, but it still feels like it happened yesterday.
Not everyone could have tasted this kind of experience. I am one of the lucky ones who do. Thus, I shared my experience in this book, in a hope that someone else could have a dream too, just like me.
I came from a village located in Bahau, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. I am a daughter of a rubber tapper and a ‘nasi lemak’ seller. Who would have thought that I could set foot at this top university of the world?
Perseverance and hard work really paid off.
So, this is my story, a village girl from ‘Seri Lemak Pahang’ clan taken on an adventure into the world of geniuses.
